A specialist sergeant was martyr during a clash with outlawed organisation PKK in rural area of Sirnak in southeastern Turkey…A clash took place between the PKK and the army forces who were carrying out a large scaled operation in southeastern Turkey on Saturday. The clash occurred in the Mount Dugun area of Sirnak’s Uludere town, on the border of northern Iraq. Kemal Akday, a specialist sergeant, was martyr during the clash.
A ceremony was arranged for the soldier in Sirnak before his body was transferred to his hometown, Malatya. (DHA)
