Two PKK members were killed in a military operation in Amasya. The killed PKK members are believed to be of the group who killed two soldiers earlier this week by planting a roadside bomb in the area… The operation had been launched after a group of PKK members placed a bomb roadside near Cigdemli village of Amasya province in northers Turkey, and caused the deaths of 2 soldiers.
2 PKK members were reported to be killed on Saturday at a 7-km distance from the group’s earlier attack’s location. A group of PKK members were come across at the Ormanozu village point during the operation, and 2 members of the group were killed in the clash that took place.
The operation in the area continues with participation of Special Forces Unit. (DHA)
