Istanbul was hit by heavy rainfall early this morning.
The Turkish State Meteorological Service issued an advisory for heavy rain between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and warned locals about the possibility of flooding.
Turkey's north, west and central Anatolian regions will be affected by the precipitation, according to the meteorological service.
