AA PhotoOne solider was martyr in a land mine blast in Alacik village of eastern Tunceli province.
Tunceli Governor Mustafa Taskesen told AA on Wednesday that a non-commissioned officer was martyr when he stepped on a land mine during patrolling in the rural area in Alacik.
Taskesen said that security operations backed by helicopters were under way in the region.
On May 4, four soldiers had also been martyr during a clash with PKK terrorists in Alacik. (A.A.)
