A plane belonging to carrier Sunexpress was forced to land after two passengers allegedly attacked a flight attendant today.

The plane was traveling from Frankfurt to Ankara when a fight broke out in the cabin.

Two passengers, who were not identified in reports, allegedly attacked a flight attendant for an unknown reason, causing a scuffle in the plane's cabin. The pilot was forced to land the plane at an airport in the Romanian capital of Bucharest. The suspects were detained by Romanian police upon landing while the flight attendant was treated for minor injuries.

The plane continued its trip after an almost five-hour delay. There was no initial information about the condition of the detained suspects. (Istanbul-Doğan News Agency (DHA))
