A blast took place on the NATO Oil Pipeline on late Sunday and an investigation began regarding the incident.
In a written statement released on Monday, the Office of the Governor of the eastern province of Erzincan said that a blast had taken place on the NATO Oil Pipeline on Sunday where the valve of the pipeline was located in Uzumlu town.
"Oil flow at the NATO Oil Pipeline has stopped following the blast. We do not yet know why the blast took place but an investigation is underway. A team of experts, anti-bomb crews and mine detecting dogs were dispatched to the area," the Erzincan Governor's Office stated. (AA)
