Three men in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa have been fined 27,406 Turkish Liras for hunting illegally and sharing photos of them hunting on Facebook, Doğan news agency reported.

The official hunting season was over and the men had no permission to hunt, so a number of people complained to the Forest Regional Directorate after they posted photos of the hunt to Facebook. The directorate identified the men through Facebook and sent the appropriate administrative fine.

Another man living in the southern province of Antalya posted photos of himself taking heroin to Facebook. Following the identification of the suspect, the Antalya police force organized a strike operation at his residence, found narcotic substances, and arrested the man. (hurriyetdailynews)
