Turkey issues message of condolence over Pakistani passenger jet crash

Turkey issued a message of condolence after a passenger jet crashed in Pakistan killing 127 people on board

Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Friday issued a message of condolence after a passenger jet crashed in Pakistan killing 127 people on board.

"We have learned with deep sadness the crash of a passenger jet bound for Islamabad from Karachi and the resulting death of 127 passengers on board. We wish God's mercy to those killed and offer our condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.

We reiterate the sincere and strong bonds of friendship between the peoples of Turkey and Pakistan on this very sad occasion," the MFA said in a statement released on Friday. (AA)
